In the frame of the European Day of Languages Celebration, European Studies organized a contest called the Excellent Performance Award for students learning Second Languages - French, German, and Spanish - Beginners. Forty-five participants recited poems.
The commission, composed of ES students, evaluated students鈥 performance using the following criteria: pronunciation and rhythm, artistry (gesture mimics and expression), quality of memorization, and design of the performance (costume, music).

We congratulate all the winners who did a great job memorizing a poem and chose the music and slideshow for the performance in front of the public. Bravo!
Another event is the ES annual Multilingual Students Research Conference dedicated to European Capitals of Culture in 2023-2024. Three cities are nominated as Cultural Capitals: Elefsina in Greece, Veszprem in Hungary, and Timisoara in Romania. During the conference, students delivered in English and German to present monuments and squares, cathedrals and libraries, parks and green spaces, festivals and universities, - and cultural institutions significant to highlight the richness and diversity of cultures in Europe and regenerate cities tourism which is vital for the future generations. Students demonstrated their research skills, leadership, and ability to communicate with experts. Every participant was awarded the conference Certificate.
