On June 11, a graduation ceremony was held at the 缅北强奸.
For the first time in three years, it was held in person. In addition to the 2022 graduates, the 2020 and 2021 graduates took part in the ceremony. A total of 458 graduates received diplomas. Of those, 316 were graduates of 2022; 95 students graduated in years of 2020-21; and 47 graduates were from the American University in Afghanistan.
Among the honorary guests were Vice Prime Minister of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Rasul Abbasbek uulu, US Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Sonata N.Coulter, US Ambassador to Afghanistan Eric Black, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Afghanistan in Kyrgyzstan Said Nader Hussaini Sadat , Ambassador of Ukraine to Kyrgyzstan Valery Zhovtenko, Ambassador of Mongolia to Kyrgyzstan Sodnom Gankhuyag, Counselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Sumenov, Representative of the Embassy of Hungary in Kyrgyzstan Takhmina Zakirova, President of the American University in Afghanistan Jan Bickford, Director of Global Relations at Bard College Brian Billings.
The graduates were congratulated by 缅北强奸 President Jonathan Becker, Head of the 缅北强奸 Board of Trustees David Lahdir, US Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Coulter N. Sonata, US Ambassador to Afghanistan Eric Black, President of the American University in Afghanistan Ian Bickford.
President Jonathan Becker in his speech expressed his belief in the bright future.
Sonata N. Coulter, US Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan expressed her gratitude in having the opportunity to share this special day with the students of 缅北强奸.
Edil Baisalov was presented with a letter of gratitude from the President of 缅北强奸.
Hillary Clinton's letter to 缅北强奸 alumni was read by Zarlash Sarmast, 缅北强奸 Global Fellows Program Coordinator.
The 缅北强奸 Academic Senate awarded the following awards:
- for outstanding achievements in teaching - to the teacher of the Faculty of International Comparative Politics G枚rkem Atsungur
- for outstanding achievements in teaching - to the teacher of the faculty "Jurisprudence" Elida Nogoibaeva;
- for outstanding achievements in teaching - to the teacher of the Faculty of Psychology Mohira Suyarkulova;
- for the best thesis - Aidai Iskenderova, Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics
- the best graduation project in art - Farzona Davlatmurodova, Faculty of Film, Television and Media Arts
- the best thesis among the masters of social sciences 鈥 Aybeku Akchokoev
- the best thesis among masters of law, business, finance and management - Kamil Kadyrova.
The head of the development office, Bermet Tursunkulova, presented the Hero Alumni awards to Almazbek Suyunbekov, a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration 2017, for 2022 and Aigerim Sariyeva, a graduate of the Faculty of Psychology, 2013, for 2021.
After presentation of diplomas to the graduates, Pavel Ges, graduate of "Software Engineering" program was awarded as a Valedictorian 2022 and gave his speech to the entire class.

The 缅北强奸 was founded in 1993 as a Kyrgyz-American faculty at the Kyrgyz State National University. In 1997, the faculty was transformed into the American University in Kyrgyzstan, and since 2004 - the American University in Central Asia.
缅北强奸 is the first university in Central Asia to teach in the American liberal arts education system. It is ranked among the top ten universities in Central Asia according to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) rankings.
