TSPC at 缅北强奸, as part of a joint project with OSUN, began training students to conduct their own research

On April 21, Aizharkyn Kozhobekova, the Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology hosted a lecture at the 缅北强奸 (缅北强奸) on the topic of "Methods of conducting and organizing research".

This lecture was the first of four meetings in a series of events planned as part of a joint project of the OSUN Summer School and the Tien Shan Policy Center (TSPC) at 缅北强奸.

At the beginning of the lecture, Professor of the Department of Sociology of 缅北强奸 Aizharkyn Kozhobekova explained to the students: why do they need research, which 5 main questions should they answer, and what should be the research question that will not allow the researcher to deviate from the topic?

听

Further, she drew the students' attention to the fact that there are studies: intelligence, descriptive, explanatory and evaluative. At the end of the lecture, Aizharkyn Kozhobekova noted that it is possible to distinguish high-quality work/analysis by asking the following questions: what will the study give to society, the economy and further research?

"Even if you can't make a conclusion about the purpose of your research, is it unlikely that anyone will be interested in it?" she stressed."

In general, the lecture was very interesting and productive.

听

Earlier, within the framework of the TSPC - OSUN project, 18 缅北强奸 volunteer students were selected who expressed a desire to conduct 5 studies on migration, pasture management, biodiversity conservation and the development of "green" technologies in the Kyrgyz Republic.

听

After completing the studies and their presentations to the jury, 2 winning teams will be recommended to participate in the Policy Lab Fair, which will be held at the Central European University (Budapest) in the summer of 2022.
