In this article, Dr. Jonathan discussed voting issues with which students are facing, dividing the problems into three criteria, first is a huge distance between campuses and polling locations, second is a colossal registration requirement, and the third problem is caused by the division of campuses into districts, which obliges students to re-register after changing dormitories.

"Removing barriers to student voting will help restore democracy and allow youth voters to demonstrate the 鈥渕oral courage鈥 and 鈥渟pirit of high idealism鈥 that President Nixon invoked fifty years ago with the passing of the 26th Amendment. Democratic voices in particular who denounce the wave of voting restrictions sweeping red states must acknowledge the problem in our own blue state and enact this bill into law" - states Dr. Jonathan.
