"The story of Fatima (Natasha) Khalil. A life never to be forgotten", directed by Zarlasht Sarmast

September 10, 2021

Fatima double majored in Human rights and Anthropology and graduated in 2019. She was a very active student and a fierce advocate for human and women鈥檚 rights. Upon graduation, she returned to Afghanistan where she worked with the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission. Tragically, she was murdered by a car bomb in Kabul on June 27, 2020 while on her way to work. Fatima鈥檚 bright but brief life is never to be forgotten. The documentary portrays her friends, professors, and family members who share their memories of Fatima, her thoughts and beliefs. 鈥淔atima (Natasha) Khalil, a life, never to be forgotten鈥, directed by: Zarlasht Sarmast / zarsarmast@gmail.com
