Fatima double majored in Human rights and Anthropology and graduated in 2019. She was a very active student and a fierce advocate for human and women鈥檚 rights. Upon graduation, she returned to Afghanistan where she worked with the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission. Tragically, she was murdered by a car bomb in Kabul on June 27, 2020 while on her way to work. Fatima鈥檚 bright but brief life is never to be forgotten.
