About the Speaker
听is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto. He is interested primarily in identity politics, social transformations, social movements, anti-Americanism, and authoritarianism with a focus on the former USSR, particularly Central Asia. His publications include an edited volume, Political Ethnography (U.Chicago Press, 2009), Modern Clan Politics (U. Washington Press, 2004), ad articles on Comparative Politics, Slavic Review, International Political Science Review, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Nationalism and Ethnic Politics, and other academic journals.听
About the Moderator
Andrew Kuchins听is the President of 缅北强奸 and a world-renown scholar and practitioner on Russia and Eurasia. He has authored, edited, and co-authored seven books on the region, more than 150 book chapters, monographs, reports, journal articles, and op-eds on the region. Much of his research has addressed Soviet and Russian foreign policy, Sino-Russian relations, and for much of the past decade the evolving political economy of Eurasia.听
