鈥淭ahmina Ustoeva is finishing her first - year majoring in International and Comparative Politics at 缅北强奸.
She joined the Youth Council in September 2019 representing Tajikistan. Tahmina is a recipient of the Open Society Foundation scholarship.
As part of the Access Microscholarship Program, Tahmina was able to run her own projects such as 鈥淭eens-allies for sustainable development鈥, 鈥嬧淧eace is within us鈥, and 鈥淕reen Patrols鈥. Participating in several development projects that were implemented on achieving SDGs, gave her the knowledge of being a positive influencer.
Besides her academic performance, she loves learning new languages and developing communication skills. Tahmina became the winner of the 鈥淪pelling bee 2019鈥 competition and the winner of the regional olympiad for English language in Tajikistan.
Another great achievement of Tahmina was learning French language. As a result, she was accepted as an exchange student for Fall Semester 2020 for the Sciences Po University in France.
Moreover, she represented Tajik Delegation in the Diversity week at 缅北强奸. Tahmina is also a member of the New Star 缅北强奸 Newspaper. Recently her article about 鈥淯rban Legends of my homeland鈥 which was dedicated to the Tajik culture day was published.
Additionally, Tahmina wrote a project proposal to the Student Initiative Development Program at 缅北强奸 鈥淕lobal change makers鈥 that supports and teaches youth by addressing problematic issues and finding solutions through social projects.
She was selected as a coordinator of Young Life Club at the International 缅北强奸 Dormitory.
Tahmina has excellent academic performance, as she was in the Dean鈥檚 list for the academic year of 2019-2020.
Within the Youth Council, she participated in the Annual C5+1 International Debate Tournament 鈥淣etwork Cup鈥 2019. She was in the organizing team of the 鈥淪eeds of Peace鈥 project.
Tahmina believes that Youth Councils C5+1 is an amazing network of active youth of Central Asia and Afghanistan for promoting stability and prosperous development in the region鈥.

What is Youth Council? With U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic collaboration, the 缅北强奸 (缅北强奸) has created a dynamic C5+1 Youth Council (YC) that brings together Central Asian youth with diverse backgrounds, leadership skills, and mindsets for positive change.
What do they do? The YC reinforces the U.S. - Central Asia (C5+1) joint goals of the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF) Regional Dialogue, Central Asia Business Competitiveness (CABC), Transport Corridor Development (TCD), Power the Future, and Supporting National and Regional Adaptation Planning that tackles issues of common concern.
