On Thursday, February 21 缅北强奸 Administration met with Jeffrey Ridenour, Information Officer of the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe, Cori Bickel, Cultural Affairs Officer of the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyz Republic, 听Sean Callaghan, Director of Program Development, and Lydia Hamilton, Program Officer of the global leadership organization to discuss the collaboration possibilities.
At the very beginning, 缅北强奸 Vice-President/COO, Chingiz Shamshiev, introduced the university mission and goals to the guests. He pointed out the importance of implementing a focused education on investigative journalism, data collection, and media literacy. 鈥淭he impact of this education could be higher in the democratic countries where the freedom of expression exists鈥: addressed Mr.Shamshiev.
The main topic of discussion was the launch of the Summer Institute of Journalism on the basis of Meridian International Center that will provide quality education and professional exchange opportunities to the United States of America for students and journalists from the Central Asian countries. Participants of the program will be able to visit different media outlets and see how they operate.
