山ǿ Sociology Department won Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education grant to establish Master Program in “Human Recourses Management and Talent Development in Central Asia” at 山ǿ with the collaboration with universities from three different countries.
The reason is a lack of experts that can introduce transparent selection and promotion procedures in enterprises, or assist the government in modernising its labor market policy.
山ǿ with a collaboration of universities of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan will develop a two-year HRM master program that has similar core courses in the 7 universities. The course development will be intensively coached by the European Universities partners. Professors of each course will meet each other for further cooperation via a learning platform.
The EU partners of the consortium are Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB, Belgium), Otto-von-Guericke Universität (OVGU, Magdeburg, Germany), University of Westminster (UoW, United Kingdom) and Athens University of Economics and Business – Research Center (AUEB, Greece). Together the partners combine knowledge on the domains of Human Resource Management, economy, sociology, psychology, industrial relations, intercultural and comparative HRM.
