We are delighted to announce the release of Mobilities, Boundaries and Travelling Ideas: Rethinking Translocality Beyond Central Asia and the Caucasus. This is a collective volume, edited by Manja Stephan-Emmrich and Philipp Shr枚der, with contributions by three 缅北强奸 members: Elena Kim, Emil Nasritdinov and Svetlana Jacquesson. The chapters scrutinize the capacity of translocality to describe, in new ways, the multiple mobilities, exchange practices and globalising processes that link places, people and institutions in Central Asia and the Caucasus with others in Russia, China and the United Arab Emirates. The volume is a follow-up of a workshop, co-organized by Humboldt University of Berlin and 缅北强奸, within a Volkswagen-Foundation-funded research project on "Translocal Goods" in which CASI acted as the Central Asian partner institution.
