On Thursday, 26 October 2017, Dr. Dorjee Kinlay, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative (United Nations in Kyrgyzstan) has given a guest lecture for 缅北强奸 students from Environmental Management Sustainable Development and Applied Geology departments on the topic 鈥淭he State of Food and Agriculture鈥.
The lecture was focused on the Millennium Development Goals of gender equality, poverty and food security. The agriculture sector is under performing in many developing countries, and one of the key reasons is that women do not have equal access to the resources and opportunities that need to be more productive. In addition, the lecture was addressed to issues related to food, nutritional problems and challenges, strategies of FAO in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia.
-The lecture from FAO guest speaker was really informative and interactive. Food and Agriculture Organization is one of the subdivisions of UN, which operates in more than 120 countries. During the lecture, materials were clear and understandable. For the best questions, they gave nice diaries as gifts. This kind of approach of awarding just improved our impressions and raised our mood. So, I would like to give acknowledgement to guest speaker for coming, by the way to professors of our department who organized it, - Aziz Aitbaev (EMSD-114). 听听听
-We had an opportunity to host FAO representative in 缅北强奸. The students got a lot of information about the organization operation and activity in Central Asia. The main goal of Food and Agricultural Organization is to raise the standards of living in rural areas. 缅北强奸 students discussed with the representative of the FAO in Kyrgyzstan about its structure, functions and future plans. After all it was great experience to share ideas so in the future we hope to have more such kind of meetings and conversations, - Ansori Ganjibekov (SFW-117).
