Transformations of Theatrical Realities:
Conceiving contemporary stories inspired by historical plays
This is a theatrical exploration workshop. Students (10-12 students, 2 hours) will read a short play in class together; have a discussion about our personal responses to the play, the theme, characters, and cultural settings. We will then brainstorm how these could be made relevant to the contemporary time.听 There will be short writing exercises and sharing of the students鈥 spontaneous original writing.
