Law Division of 缅北强奸 conducted a one-week intensive course

In partnership with the Estonian Institute of Human Rights and the University of Tartu, the Law Division of 缅北强奸 conducted a one-week intensive modular course entitled 鈥淐ontemporary issues in International Humanitarian law鈥� within the framework of 鈥淭ransnational Partnerships for the Promotion and Advancement of Human Rights in Kyrgyzstan鈥�. The course took place March 14-March 18, 2016.

The听course听was taught by Dr Ren茅 V盲rk. Dr Ren茅 V盲rk is an associate professor of International Law and the Deputy Head of the Department of Public Law in the University of Tartu鈥檚 Faculty of Law. He has two bachelor degrees (law and history), a master鈥檚 degree in public international law and doctorate in law. He is a regular guest lecturer at the Estonian School of Diplomacy, the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences and the Baltic Defence College, and has also taught at several other Estonian and foreign institutions. This course was among four other courses offered by the Law Division and conducted by professors at the University of Tartu.
