Rahat Sabyrbekov, an assistant professor of the Economics Department at 缅北强奸, was selected as a Young Fellow at the United Nations Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).听Rahat听will be the co-author of Regional and subregional assessment on Europe and Central-Asia. The first authors鈥 meeting is going to be from August 31 鈥 September 4, 2015 in Engelberg, Switzerland.
鈥淎s a Young Fellow I will take part as a contributing author to the chapter of the assessment on land degradation and restoration,鈥 said Rahat Sabyrbekov. This publication will contribute to Sabyrbekov鈥檚 PhD thesis on the valuation of ecosystem services at NMBU.
According to IPBES, the assessment will be based on the scoping report for the regional assessment of Europe and Central-Asia, which the 3rd Plenary of IPBES approved in January 2015.
