Diversity Week 2015 - New Ideas, new performances and new delegations

February 6, 2015

This year's diversity week is counted to be one of the most cheerful diversity week in the whole history of 缅北强奸. We had more delegations and more innovative ideas & performances this year.

Students took an active part in all the performances along one week and with great enthusiam showed their talent to our guests. This is not uncommon that our students did a great job during one week and blew up the hall at the final day of diversity week. As the Dean of Students' life office, Nikolai Grigorevich Shulgin wrote on his Facebook official page, "Amazing! No one was forced to take part in it, the concert and the other events have听not been advertised at all... But anyways the hall with听650 seats was full, people were sitting in passageways and standing near the wall. We are really ahead of the whole planet!"

The first day of the Diversity Week was devoted to the presentations of culture and national heritages of more than 10 nationalities at 缅北强奸. You could meet girls wearing Chinese Qi Pao, Slavic dress, Indian sari presenting hats, cups, swords, and other national clothes and materials.

The most active delegation today was the Caucasian one, where our Caucasian students wore their handsome white and blue cherkeskas and danced at the center of our foyer in Bravo. The Indian and Afghan delegations wore their beautiful, colorful dresses and glittering jewelries. They drew variety of beautiful mehndi on the hands of a crowd of students, who gathered around them.

The Kyrgyz, Uighur, Slavic, Uzbek, Korean, Tajik, American, Mexican and Japanese delegations did small exhibitions of dishes, pictures, books and clothes. Of course, it was impossible to not follow the dancing part, so each delegation had the chance to dance as well.

A very young delegation had also presented different sustainable methods and ways to protect environment. It is called Sustainistan. This is a delegation headed by the Professor Martin Ossewaarde, which is struggling to protect environment and encourages everyone to consider sustainable development as their principle guide in their daily activities.

The second day was devoted to the video presentations of each delegation, which was held in CH-1. We could watch the breathtaking nature of Tajikistan, we saw scenes from the life of the , Kavkaz, 听and . We watched some tricks of Samurai presented by the Japanese delegation, and have experienced over ourselves how the 听can treat people.听[The video presentations of the delegations you can watch听]

The third day, was the most delicious and yummy day, where you could try diverse foods of different nationalities at once. You could try kimbap, American pancakes, Uzbek plov, Mexican taco, Kyrgyz boorsok, Afghan qabli pulao, Indian rogan josh & biryani, Tajik kurutob &听gulmantu and many more. 听

And the very last day of the Diversity week was the summary of the whole week.听It was a 2 hour concert of marvelous dances, amazing, breathtaking performances and just fabulous, super active students' show.听
