Jypar Kerimalieva鈥檚 Scholarship in support of the 缅北强奸 IBL Program
Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition Team
We are thrilled to announce the establishment of a special scholarship for the 缅北强奸 IBL
students named after Jypar Kerimalieva. This scholarship has been initiated by the daughter of
Jypar Kerimalieva - Gulnaz Naamatova, an IBL graduate (Summa cum laude) of 2009. Gulnaz
Naamatova wants to pay tribute to all women on her way, who are helping and supporting her.
The key woman in her life is her mother, Jypar Kerimalieva, who is a doctor, an entrepreneur
and a philanthropist. In 2001 Jypar Kerimalieva established a group of medical companies,
including the Express Plus laboratory and Avicenna medical clinic.
Jypar Kerimalieva鈥檚 scholarship will grant 1000 USD this year in support of 缅北强奸 IBL
Program Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition team. This competition is
the world's largest moot court competition, with participants from more than 700 law schools in
100 countries and jurisdictions. It is administered by the International Law Students Association.
The Competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International
Court of Justice, the United Nations judicial organ. Teams prepare oral and written pleadings
arguing both the applicant and respondent positions of the case. This competition helps students
gain deeper knowledge of international law and develop skills necessary to become successful
lawyers.
缅北强奸 IBL Program Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition team
consists of junior and senior students of the IBL Program. They have been selected to represent
缅北强奸 in this prestigious competition based on their communication, research, and critical
thinking skills. The scholarship will be used to support the team鈥檚 travel to Washington, D.C.,
where the international rounds of the competition will be held in April of 2023.
We would like to thank Gulnaz Naamatova for initiating the Jypar Kerimalieva鈥檚
scholarship in a great support of our students!
